The Stanislaus County Pubic Defender recenters the scales of justice for our community through the empowerment of our clients, fierce legal defense, and boundless advocacy. Program Information

MSW interns for the office of the Public Defender will continue to monitor clients throughout the course of their SUD treatment. This will help ensure that clients are able to accomplish their goals and overcome any challenges or barriers. Interns will provide clients with the following services: care coordination, case management, individual counseling, peer support, connection to local resources, and any supportive services clients may need in order to become successful in making healthy life choices.
