Opportunity Summary 

Tasks:

Under the supervision of Sustain Recovery’s Residential Manager, the Mental Heath/Substance Abuse Direct Care Staff coordinates the daily operations and direct care of the residents in the program. The Mental Health/Substance Abuse Direct Care Staff are responsible for the supervision, protection and care of the children at all times. All Mental Health/Substance Abuse Direct Staff will be positive role models. The Mental Health/Substance Abuse Direct Staff provides support to the Residential Manager for the daily operations of the Group Home.

Sustain Recovery’s Mental Health/Substance Abuse Care Direct Care Staff will be monitoring adolescents whose behavior is dangerous or otherwise unacceptable despite their parents' best efforts and professional intervention is required. Substance use is a common trigger of behavioral problems, and substance use disorders require specific treatment. Behavioral problems also may be a symptom of learning disabilities, depression, or other mental health disorders.

Pay range $17-$20/hr and up depending on experience.

11pm-7am shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

3pm-11pm shifts all days of the week

7am-3pm shifts all days of the week

Work Location: In person

Training:

Student will have 2 weeks of shadowing and 30 min weekly check-ins with Supervisor. There is also monthly clinical training, monthly all staff meetings, and medication training.
