Program Information The Office of the District Attorney is the largest law firm based in Orange County. The Office represents the People of the State of California in some civil and in all criminal proceedings, and serves the court and criminal justice system. The Public Affairs Unit with the Office provides the public and media critical and accurate information regarding public safety, significant cases, and the criminal justice system. The Unit is responsible for writing press releases daily, organizing press conferences and special events as needed.
