Program Information

The agency, sponsored by Pepperdine University, recruits, trains and places low-income seniors, age 55 and older, who want to become involved in volunteer work and earn a small per hour stipend. The agency does check references and completes fingerprinting clearance.
The program provides volunteer opportunities for low-income individuals ages 55 years and older who live in Los Angeles County. Services include foster grandparent programs and volunteer recruitment/placement services. Volunteer opportunities include classroom aide volunteer opportunities, hospital/institutional visit volunteer opportunities, and mentoring volunteer opportunities.
