Program Information

Maintains various financial records, such as those pertaining to construction and camp operating costs, including expenditures, storage, custody, distribution and usage, prepares related periodic reports and makes recommendations based on expenditure records.

Assists in institutional budget preparation, basing recommendations on previous expenditures and projected budgetary needs.

Participates in staff meetings and conferences on institution policies and procedures.

Supervises and participates in the requisitioning, maintenance, and issuance of supplies, equipment, and services.

Prepares and maintains a variety of clerical forms, records, and reports, such as requisitions, packing invoices, and assisting with time reports to comply with County Fiscal Manual and departmental policy.

Performs routine physical inventories and maintains records of supplies and property and makes regular inspection of grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure that supplies and services provided are adequate and comply with the needs and standards of the institution.

Prepares and submits requests for building and equipment maintenance and repair services as needed.

Reviews services activities as supply, kitchen, operator and camp maintenance to assure operations are functioning efficiently.

Supervises support staff and camp inmates engaged in storekeeping, laundry, clerical, and various other functions to comply with state mandates, departmental policies and other services and to ensure efficient operations of the camp.
