Program Information Outreach and Public Sector Intern 1) Work with WM PSS team to respond to municipal events and outreach requests in an effort to promote contract related events and other environmentally related events required by the Jurisdictions in the Orange County service area. 2) Maintain and update database which includes but is not limited to: tracking events, incoming requests and contributions, etc... 3) Conduct data mining assignments as requested. 4) Research and call OC cities to determine services and contract information. Build excel file to contain results of inquiry. 5) Draft articles on waste prevention and zero waste strategies for city newsletters and website. 6) Handle a variety of organizational tasks including premium and outreach supply management. 7) Assist at the Irvine Farmers Market on a weekly basis to help them recover food waste at the end of the day and educate during the day. Subject to City approval. 8) Other duties, as assigned.
