Program Information

The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research (the Center) is one of the nation's leading health policy research centers and the premier source of health policy information for California. The Center is the home of the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) and is affiliated with the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. The Center provides expertise, research and data to a wide range of public and private health organizations, partners and the media. Center researchers regularly support policymakers and advocates through policy analysis, including assessments and program evaluations. The mission of the Center is to improve the public???s health through high-quality, objective, and evidence-based research and data that informs effective policymaking. We advance this mission through policy analysis, policy-relevant research, public service, community partnership, media relations, and education.
