Program Information Katie Porter is running for election in the 45th Congressional district of California as a Democrat. She is a professor of Law at the University of California at Irvine and a consumer rights attorney who was appointed by then Attorney General Kamala Harris in 2012 to be California???s watchdog against the banks. Interns will assist us in the office contacting voters directly, collecting ballots, registering people to vote and assisting with other tasks in the office.
