Program Information

OCHCA's Health Promotion Division protects the health and safety of Orange County residents by building the capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities to promote optimal health and prevent disease, disability, and premature death. The Injury Prevention Program administers the following projects designed to increase physical activity opportunities and prevent bike, pedestrian, and child passenger injuries: Buckle Up Orange County, Safe Routes to School, Walk to School Day, Safe Routes for Older Adults, and Helmet Safety.
