Program Information West Los Angeles College is a community college of a nine college district. The Athletic Training and Sports Medicine Internship allows students students to take on an evidence-based practice approach during their academic course work and clinical experience. The clinical domains include Emergency Care, Injury Prevention, Clinical Diagnosis, Therapeutic Intervention, and the Management of Medical Conditions. The program is designed to encourage students to continue to pursue graduate school and terminal degrees in Sports Medicine
