Program Information Westside Family Preservation Services Network is committed to a strategic vision of strong, stable and happy families, resilient and restorative communities, and robust, equitable futures and safety for all generations. Our mission is preventing and ending child maltreatment. We advance collaborative work to common purpose in the 22 rural communities we serve in Western Fresno and Eastern Madera Counties in Central California.Our Family Strengthening Programs include five Youth Empowerment Centers (one each in the communities of Firebaugh, Mendota, Kerman, Coalinga and Huron); two Neighborhood Resource Centers (one each in the communities of Huron and Coalinga); three home visiting programs which serve 18 rural, farm worker communities in Western Fresno County; and a nationally and internationally recognized parent education program, Triple P, in the rural, mountain communities of Eastern Madera County.Our Community Strengthening Programs include our 10 bed Domestic Violence Shelter, Las Casitas de Lola, in Huron along with its Rapid Rehousing component of rental assistance and active case management and supportive in-home services; our four COVID relief programs including rental, mortgage and material good support for families knocked down by the pandemic; our digital literacy program; and our two Homeless Day Centers, one focused on youth experiencing homelessness in the mountain community of Oakhurst, and another focused on unsheltered, working homeless in the agricultural community of Huron.
