The Tiyya Foundation

Program Information

We provide economic and educational opportunities for families of refugees, immigrants, and indigenous communities.\r\n\r\nThrough our work, we create a community that cultivates the fruits of self-sufficiency, ultimately helping our program participants overcome obstacles to actively participate in society. \r\n \r\nThe fabric of the United States was stitched together by the immigrants who came here seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Today, as violence continues to arise throughout the world, many families are still finding refuge in our country. Here at Tiyya, we believe in creating a community that values inclusivity, kindness, and compassion through peace building and nonviolent communication. By providing basic necessities and educational opportunities for refugees, immigrants, and displaced American families, we hope to empower our participants while creating a space for cross-cultural dialogue with the local community.
