Program Information Community Access Network (CAN) was founded with a mission to provide compassionate, client-centered support for individuals and families facing life\u2019s challenges. Since 1999, we have been dedicated to empowering children, youth, and families by offering innovative programs and services that foster hope, healing, and resilience.\r\n\r\nFrom placing foster children in loving homes and providing therapeutic services to establishing mental health clinics and residential care programs, CAN is committed to meeting the unique needs of every individual we serve. Through our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), foster family agency, and specialized behavioral services, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. At CAN, we believe that with the right care and support, every child and family has the potential to succeed.\r\n\r\nOUR MISSION:\r\nWe are dedicated to restoring hope to children and families by fostering supportive and lasting relationships.\r\n\r\nOUR PURPOSE\r\nCommunity Access Network strives to provide a safe, warm, and inclusive family environment for every child placed in our resource family homes. We aim to pave the way for families to access vital resources to deal effectively with their various biopsychosocial stressors. Community Access Network\u2019s treatment approach is designed to facilitate a therapeutic and supportive relationship with families and children to enhance their level of functioning.\r\n\r\nOUR PHILOSOPHY\r\nCommunity Access Network is a grass-roots community organization, which believes that when provided with adequate support and resources, families can identify and build on their strengths and become empowered to resolve their own problems. When empowered, families will be able to move toward the realization of their optimum level of social, emotional, and physical development. Research has consistently shown that one of the most important contributing factors to a child\u2019s successful biopsychosocial development is a strong nurturing relationship with an adult who fosters their self-esteem and encourages them to be successful.
