Program Information PADRE Foundation started in 1985 by a family and CHOC Endocrinology team when their daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. The mission is to provide empower, educate and inspire individuals and families affected by Type 1 diabetes. We create a supportive and inclusive community with resources, guidance and connections. We are committed to education, community and advocacy.
