Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District (SHCHD) operates

Jerold Phelps Community Hospital,
Southern Humboldt Community Clinic,
Southern Humboldt Family Resource Center,
Garberville Pharmacy, and
Fortuna Optometry.

We offer laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, a 24-hour emergency room, inpatient care, skilled nursing, primary care, home health, pharmacy, and optometry services.
