Caring with Compassion in Northern California: Providence in Northern California is a not-for-profit network of hospitals, physicians, clinics, home health services, and affiliated health services. We strive to give those we serve exceptional, compassionate healthcare that provides peace of mind.

STUDENTS - please search for your Providence site in S4 to report your placement under one of the following:

  • For Providence Hospitals or Community Resource Centers:  search for “Providence” and/or the name of specific Hospital or Community Resource Center you are placing with.  
  • For Providence Outpatient Offices: Confirm with your faculty (or Doctor’s office you are shadowing at) that this is a Providence Outpatient Office and search for Providence: Outpatient Offices. (Individual offices are not named.)
  • For the St. Joseph Home CARE Network: search for Providence: St. Joseph Home CARE Network.
  • If you are unsure which site to choose, please contact ccbl@humboldt.edu for assistance.
Program Information

Students, please make sure to list your specific clinic name/address on the Liability Release form when you complete it in S4 (and in the Student Learning Plan if your faculty assigns it).
