“A Time and Place for Language”

Hupa Language Immersion Nest provides summer school and programs for youth and families. As a result of federal and state government policies, currently the Hupa language is highly endangered with only a few first language speakers, all that are elders. Through these programs we hope to revitalize the language and work to create new speakers of the language.
