Organization Description

Four Winds Center’s mission is to advance the educational achievement and cultural opportunities of American Indian people. Our mission serves to expand educational opportunities for students, families, and community participants to significantly improve and promote a successful transition to post-secondary education through self-motivation and parent involvement. We serve to increase cultural awareness and traditional knowledge to cultivate the self-concept and sense of identity of American Indian people as lifelong learners. 

Four Winds Center represents a vision and commitment to recognizing the educational and cultural needs of American Indian people. We strive to improve and foster relationships between home and public school systems and implement effective educational programs. We provide culturally-rich opportunities and continue to create a comprehensive network of community resources for American Indian students, families, and community participants.
