Organization Description

New Life Discovery Project, Inc. began as a 501c3 nonprofit but has converted to a for profit share corporation. This change allows New Life Discovery greater flexibility and access to resources which allow us to achieve our mission more effectively.

Our Philosophy, Mission, and Vision

We are a grass roots life development project dedicated to inspiring every single soul with hope that enters our doors. We are motivated by our own personal experiences and encounters with God’s love. We are committed to being a program that inspires you to discover a new life free of the repetitive, negative, and /or self-destructive coping patterns that have had ongoing negative consequences in your life, and are committed to working side by side with you as you discover a new life for yourself.

We believe that many behaviors can be considered addictions and not just drugs and alcohol. We believe that addiction is an adaptive response to stress, trauma, and events in life that are too overwhelming to manage. We believe the adaptive responses become habitual patterns because a person finds temporary pleasure or relief from them, but suffers negative consequences as a result.

Our mission is to help individuals understand and overcome the old self-destructive coping patterns and transform helplessness into phenomenally powerful life skill and hopefulness.

Our vision is to provide powerfully effective whole-life intervention services to those who are alienated from family, community, and society because of life circumstances such as addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and other life challenges that are preventing them from participating in a positive, productive, purposeful life.
