Organization Description

United Way of Ventura County’s mission is to improve lives by inspiring and mobilizing the caring power and resources of our communities. Areas of focus are: income, education and health, the building blocks for a better life. The United Way of Ventura County is a volunteer-driven organization. This means that individuals living and working in the local community volunteer their time and expertise to set and monitor the direction in planning, policy decisions, and financial development of the United Way.

  • SUPERVISION: Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm).
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
