University Preparation Charter School at CSU Channel Islands

Organization Description

The mission of the University Preparation Charter School at CSU Channel Islands (UPCS) is a collaborative community of innovative learners who seek out challenges and preserve toward individual and shared goals. We provide multiple opportunities for students to thrive in a diverse and compassionate learning environment.

Health & Safety

Students will always sign-in at the main office and complete a daily timesheet. Students will receive an orientation on their first day.

Students will be working with minors, so they are required to be over the age of 18.

A background check or a live scan is required. UPCS will pay for it and will be sent to students to have it before starting work.

Students will be working on a school campus, so students are required to be TB cleared.

Since students will be working with minors, students are not allowed to take pictures or videos, only on special occasions and with explicit permission.

Specific policies apply to the clients served based on a school handbook.
