Organization Description

Mission: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson offers young people a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves, dedicated adult mentors who respect and listen to them and outcome based programs that empower youth to become lifelong learners.

Volunteers serve as Youth Development Professionals and serve in our after school program sites. The programs have three areas: Academic Success, Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. The Club welcomes volunteers with unique interests and if given the opportunity can lead their own weekly program.

In order to volunteer/intern, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and go through an onboarding process that includes a background check, TB test, and Live Scan fingerprinting.
