The Oasis Community Center is a drop in resource center on campus that offers daily skill-building workshops, information and referrals, and a structured After-School Program for school aged children and teens.  The Center also features an internet connected computer lab, and playcare for pre-school children so parents can attend class…all free of charge. Your search for employment, training, and housing opportunities just got easier with our free computer lab equipped with a high-speed internet connection.  Available to teens and students for homework project during after school program or Kids computer lab.

Adult Enrichment Workshops

Receive group and one-on-one instruction in life skills, personal enrichment, goal planning, budgeting, career planning, and much more! Classes are scheduled on a rotating basis so they can be attended in any order. Call 562-388-8080 for details and current schedule.

Financial Literacy ~ Simple changes can make all the difference! Learn about the benefits of bank accounts versus check cashing programs, planning and following a budget, consumerism, credit card management, and how to check your credit score and improve your financial standing

Parenting ~  Join other parents in a group setting learning about the influence of the media on your children, how to use effective discipline, nutrition guidelines, and how to support your child at school.

Career Planning ~  When it comes to finding a job, you can never be too prepared. Get ahead of the competition with sessions in career planning, resume writing, interview skills, and job searching.
