Behavioral Health Services

Organization Description

BHS The ADAM Project: The ADAM Project is a collaboration effort between Behavioral Health Services and The Center Long Beach to provide services to a key demographic in the Long Beach area that is at risk for substance use and the contraction and transmission of HIV.

It is our goal at the ADAM Project to develop and implement an outreach strategy that identifies the needs of communities and offer comprehensive services aimed at reducing the risk and harm of substance use and sex precitices.

Outreach is a face-to-face encounter that seeks to engage "hard to reach" or hidden populations in order to inform them and empower individuals to connect services.
