Bureau of Land Management (BLM)

Organization Description

It is the mission of the Bureau of Land Management to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and employment of present and future generations.

Program Information

Students will be working on several projects, including but not limited to removing
invasive species, maintaining and monitoring habitat restoration sites, monitoring goat
grazing activity, collecting native plant seed, closing illegal recreation trails, collecting
plant diversity data, conducting bunch-grass surveys as well as many more exciting
opportunities. Projects vary by season. Please check the Current Opportunities list to
view specific projects.

Health & Safety

Students will go through the following trainings:

 

**Students are required to wear long pants and long sleeve shirt**
