Organization Description

Dealmoon Mission Statement: Discover great products and services to help people live better Dealmoon operates the leading social shopping community for Chinese expats around the world and is the largest Chinese-American blog with a developing Influencer network. Global consumer brands work with Dealmoon to reach the Chinese-language shopper. In 2016 alone, Chinese shoppers engaged with Dealmoon more than one billion times from the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Italy and Spain as well as China. Dealmoon.com launched in the U.S. in 2009, offering shopping recommendations tailored to Chinese consumer's needs and wants. In 2011, Dealmoon integrated with top Chinese social platform Weibo, expanding its reach to Chinese consumers worldwide. Providing not only product and shopping tips but also guidance on how to adapt to their new homes outside China, Dealmoon’s Weibo channels now have more than 20 million followers. Program Information

The student will monitor the appropriateness of the platform, validating user's fairness and truthfulness, answering the users' question in a timely manner, and providing guidance to users when they are having problems in purchasing the products. The student will assist other editors in creating the content of the posts to provide helpful information on the promotion/product. The student will develop a sense of consumer's taste and preference and will be able to identify good deals from many different websites, therefore to promote the deal/sale through our wechat/weibo program. The student will participate in creating a catchy and informative content to guide our users to have a smooth online shopping experience by providing them with the best deal on the internet.
