Organization Description

The Children’s Collective, Inc. is a private non-profit human services corporation that has served children and families in Greater Los Angeles since 1972.  Annually TCCI serves over 12,000 clients in 18 separate programs.

Its primary mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive, educational and family support services to women, minorities, children, youth, families and other adults in South Los Angeles.

The mission is achieved through the company’s major program divisions: Child Development, Youth Development, Family Support/Workforce and Health.

TCCI’s vision for the community is for every child and every family to live to their fullest potential.

Program services are supported by a staff of 140 at 13 locations.  Communities served include Greater Crenshaw, Exposition Los Angeles and Manchester/Figueroa.

Fees for all programs are based on family income.  Most families qualify for free services

TCCI is best known for its comprehensive, high quality services as well as for its ability to change and grow in response to the needs of its clients.

Program Information

*Currently they are accepting students to volunteer in the preschool classrooms that they work with. There is a total of eight preschools and you will be assinged to the one in most need of assitance.
