Organization Description

The Alameda Health Consortium is a private, non-profit regional association of community health centers in Alameda County. We advocate for access to affordable, accessible health care for all. We foster partnerships to maximize limited resources and coordinate services for low-income vulnerable communities. Alameda Health Consortium members are: Asian Health Services, Axis Community Health, La Clínica, LifeLong Medical Care, Native American Health Center, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, Tri-City Health Center, and West Oakland Health. Each member is a federally qualified, independently operated non-profit community health center. Together, the community health centers provide primary medical, behavioral health, dental care and supportive services to more than 350,000 patients in Alameda County and adjacent areas. The health centers operate more than 90 clinic sites and employ more than 1,700 providers and staff who are all dedicated to providing excellent, high-quality care.
