Organization Description

Patterson Recreation and Community Services Strives to deliver quality programs for all generations, by creating memorable experiences, a sense of community and encourage a healthy, Active Life. We provide a variety of programs for Tiny tots, youth, Teens, Adults and seniors. Our focus is healthy and active lifestyles, so your motto is LIVE ACTIVE! We believe in the value of Parks and Recreation and strive to provide a variety of programs that get the community members to the parks for programs and fun. We teach leadership, sportsmanship, skills and creative learning opportunities.

Program Information

Students will develop, manage and evaluate unique recreational programs for the community of Patterson for Senior Adults, tiny tots, youth and teens. They will gain leadership skills and organizational skills. They will assist with Special Events and Community wide events. The students will learn time management and learn to develop partnerships with non-profit organizations and community groups to provide a variety of programs that enhance community safety, health and wellness.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older
  • RISK: Event Set-up - Risk includes but not limited to: Lifting, cuts, bruises, etc.
  • RISK: Physical Recreation - Risk includes but is not limited to: sprains, strains, bruises, gym equipment, falling
  • SITE REQUIREMENT: Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
