CSU East Bay - Concord Campus - Galindo Creek Field Station

The mission of the field station steward is to assist with creek restoration, promote and participate in citizen science, and develop environmental awareness within the campus community and the local communities in Contra Costa County. Duties will include: • Assist with establishing and performing a survey of the pedestrians and campus community about the field station • Assist with establishing and creating photographic archives of the site and the restoration process • Assist with establishing and performing data collection for carbon sequestration • Participate in the physical component of creek restoration during group work days (planting, weeding, watering) • Attend County meetings which pertain to the watershed (optional) • Other duties as assigned
