Organization Description

Community Child Care Coordinating Council (4Cs) of Alameda County is a nonprofit organization serving families and child care providers in Alameda County. 4Cs of Alameda County exists to develop and coordinate resources for families and children.

Program Information

They will experience working in a non-profit office setting and learn how to be a team player in our CalWORKs Stage 1 program. They will quickly learn what a vital role they will play on the team in assisting the staff with clerical duties such as: Data entry, setting up client files, and printing/mailing forms and packets to clients. They will also learn how to maintain confidentiality of our client’s personal identifiable information and why that is so important. They will be given the opportunity to interact directly with our clients assisting them in our 4Cs’ Community Closet. This position is a wonderful fit for students who are empathetic to the needs of children and families in Alameda County. Early Education Development, Sociology, Psychology studies.

Our office is opened to clients Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Fridays 9am to 12pm. We work from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. We do have some after hour events/trainings and workshops week day evenings and or Saturdays.
