East Bay SPCA

Organization Description

The East Bay SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has been an innovator in animal welfare since 1874! The East Bay SPCA is committed to the welfare of cats and dogs in the communities we serve. We strive to eliminate animal cruelty, neglect and overpopulation by providing programs and education that support people and companion animals.

Program Information

Students will have the opportunity to support the local East Bay community through volunteering at the East Bay SPCA’s full-service Veterinary Clinic, which provides excellent, affordable care and services to thousands of owned animals each year. Students will be responsible for assisting veterinary staff with scheduling, as well as live calls and voicemails sorting them into prescription requests, appointments, inquiries, or emergencies.
