Organization Description

At Pattern Ag, we are leveraging advances in genomics, data science, and microbiology to help farmers improve the productivity and profitability of their land. With a state-of-the-art lab and a team comprised of the foremost experts in each industry vertical we touch, Pattern helps farmers identify the microorganisms living in their soils so that they can promote the good and eliminate the bad. We are hyper farmer-focused, which means we are determined to create a product that provides real value to our customers.

Program Information

Student will develop an end-to-end proof of concept related to data quality, interpretation, dashboarding with visuals, and a report to the management team that will inform next generation products. The student will develop a familiarity with a wide range of data types, from spatial to metagenomic, and learn how to incorporate and summarize these data for laboratory scientists, sales teams, product teams, and executive management. The student will get experiencing handling and modeling highly multivariate datasets.

As an agricultural service company, PatternAg is exempt from Stay At Home orders; we are, however, limiting access to our buildings for all non-laboratory personnel and expect to be continuing to do so for an indeterminate time. It is possible that the intern will have limited access to the building for some part of the summer, as we are limiting personnel contact for everyone's safety.
