Organization Description

We are a software development company creating apps for the entertainment space. One of our apps , Oi, is a real time prediction app for live sports - it lets you make predictions while watching live sports, compete with friends, and win money. Among other projects, currently 01, Inc. is developing a real time, social, contextual, content delivery & engagement platform - a social network for live events. We are initially focusing on second screen applications, which work in conjunction with what is playing on the user's television screen, and reads sound cues to identify the content and context of what's playing, right down to the millisecond, and is then able to serve up media, information, commerce solutions, as well as engagement that may be most relevant to what the user is viewing.

Program Information

New product research and development-Student will research various topics in new product development and collaborate with staff to document and present their research. Student will be exposed to several stages of mobile app development Software testing-Student will be required to do extensive software testing of existing product. Student will develop exceptional organizational and attention to detail through this process Software documentation-Through all the phases of a product, from research of an idea to deployment, good documentation is essential to the success of a product Presentations-Students will collaborate with staff, gather information, and present complex ideas in an organized manner

Hours of operation 

Our Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm PST. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but, currently, all our work is remote. The daily check-in with the student will be arranged on our June 1 meeting and will be the same for all work days. Generally, the weekly meeting will be on Mondays. We would prefer the student to work between the hours of 9am to 3pm.
