Organization Description

NCCDI is a Community Counseling Program in Red Bluff that provides therapy to Head Start Families in Tehama County and also to the community for $20 per session.  NCCDI sees individuals, families, kids, and adults and all presenting problems and diagnoses.  NCCDI also works closely with Head Start in Case Management activities and doing therapy and psychoed groups. 

The student intern will learn to provide assessment, treatment planning, intervention and case management including working with children, parents, families, agencies, schools, teachers and childcare providers. Also provide therapy in an outpatient setting. 

The student intern should be organized, have good time management, be able to work independently with guidance, and have flexibility and openness to learning. Intern will need a car and will be reimbursed for mileage. Most work is done in the field all over Shasta County in homes, businesses and schools.
