Program Information Students will learn how to support and encourage teenagers in an authentic way. Additionally, students will learn how to coach and counsel young people through their personal and educational struggles. Students will create workshops and exercises to help attract and engage students in the Axiom. Additionally, students will learn the importance of continuing their development through assigned trainings, readings and volunteer events.
The student intern should be fun, energetic, a people person, young at heart, willing to do silly things, assertive, able to enforce rules, motivating, goal oriented, able to handle a loud environment with 50+ crazy teenagers. The student intern should have strong personal morals and high integrity and be considered a good role model for teenagers (that doesn't mean being perfect but means learning from your past mistakes, and holding yourself to high standards), and have strong personal and professional boundaries.
