Program Information

The student will learn engagement skills, biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and group therapy. The student can be involved in data collection, community collaboration and program development.The student will learn the basics of cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy as well as the foundations of Addiction and the stages of change.

We are looking for a student that is diverse, is knowledgeable of Substance Abuse Disorder and Behavioral health and the relationship between the two or eager to learn about the subject. The student should have an open mind to all conditions a human may face as they struggle with addiction.
