Chico Community Counseling Center

Program Information

Youth Outpatient Centers provide treatment and care for behavioral and emotional needs of children, transition age youth (TAY), and families. The services include mental health assessment, group and individual therapy, family therapy, case management, and skill building. If indicated, psychiatric evaluation and medication management is available. We also provide referrals to community support providers.

As a BSW student intern you will be involved in the TAY program, which is case management where you will help assist with home visitations, school visitations and monitor the client's progress with a case manager.  However, you will not carry a caseload.  As a MSW student intern you will carry your own caseload of individuals to case manage.
