Our services will always be available when the survivor is ready, whether that is in the immediate aftermath of violence committed against them or years later. MCRCC also serves people connected to survivors, because we acknowledge the trauma of sexual violence can impact entire families, across generations, and communities. Significant others can include but are not limited to: spouses, parents, guardians, caregivers, siblings, intimate partners, friends, and other family members. History The Monterey Rape Crisis Center was founded in 1973.
