Organization Description

Solano County is a government agency. Within the agency is the department of Health and Social Services which oversees the Employment and Eligibility Services division. Employ and Eligibility Services Division administers public assistance programs such as Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKs, and General Assistane in accordance with set federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

Program Information

Learning opportunities include acquiring an advanced level of knowledge in the different public assistance programs acquiring on the job and regulatory training that can be used in working with the supervisor and management to develop and implement best practice procedures.
