Opportunity Summary 

Students will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals with Behavioral/Mental health and substance use challenges and disorders. This will be done both through special project; group facilitations, day-to-day interactions, team meetings, 1:1 case study.

Opportunity Training 

Shadowing professional CTRS, CPI Training (Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention) In house in-services; Observation of Clients in groups, in the milieu, in recovery/Treatment team conferences and consulting with CTRS's in supervision

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be given an orientation and also have training and in servicing prior and during internship. All students will be gradually integrated into the program, with increasing independence as they are ready.
