Opportunity Summary 

By collaborating and supporting us in our mission, you will help build community and become a mentor to our students who come from underserved families in the Concord area. At De La Salle Academy, we really aim to provide a transformative, equitable education to our students. As a volunteer, you will get an inside look into how a school gets run as a nonprofit, and be able to work on your own professional skills while having the opportunity to learn more about education.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have learned: How to apply academic methods and/or theories in a way that promotes collaboration and mutual benefit in a community setting.
Students will have learned: To demonstrate critical reflection through their experiences.
Students will have learned: Express their understanding of the interconnections between their experiences and and their responsibility as members of social or professional communities.

Opportunity Training 

Students will be onboarded by a professional who will describe De La Salle Academy's mission and how they can engage and support our school.
There will be informational sessions with presentations describing who we are and what we do.
