Harbor-UCLA’s mission is to provide equitable and exceptional care with the respect and compassion we would want for our loved ones. Harbor’s mission is designed to drive the operational improvements necessary to achieve our True North as reflected by the following:
• Our Patients: We put our patients first and improve their experience.
• Our People: We are a diverse workforce that strives for equity, inclusivity, and wellness.
• Quality and Safety: We create a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Our Resources: We use our resources wisely

Harbor-UCLA is a healthcare safety-net provider. We are a general acute care hospital licensed for 453 beds. We are a Level I Trauma and a STEMI Receiving Center. Additionally, we are an academic medical center with Resident Physician training programs in 12 medical/surgical disciplines, and a variety of subspeciality fellowship programs.
