Opportunity Summary 

The Morrow-Meadows Corporation Summer Internship is a hands-on training program designed to give you valuable real-world experience in the electrical construction industry. You will be partnered with one of our passionate mentors as you learn the trade inside and out. Further your education and expend your resume while working on some of our current projects within Estimating, Preconstruction, Project Management, or Safety. Develop valuable professional relationships as you network with our leaders and key decision makers. Put your knowledge, skills and abilities to use while enhancing our team and company performance.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Responsibilities for Operations Internships
• Basic change order estimating and counting of electrical items
• Quantify electrical items for purchase; light fixtures, wiring devices, etc.
• Field labor timecard entry and generate labor reports
• Assist with document control; printing, filing, organizing plans, specifications, RFI’s and construction documents
• Prepare basic material submittals and manage their submission and distribution
• Maintain various tracking logs and update information
• Assist with construction safety implementation and record keeping
• Assist in maintaining time keeping records of Field Work Orders on Time & Material change orders
• Assist in development of purchase order directives and subcontract work orders
• Coordinate with project material vendors and subcontractors
• Assist with material tracking and expediting
• Assist in managing inspection requests and punch list

Opportunity Training 

Shadowing various departments to learn computer and support skills.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

There may be project site visits which will require wearing proper safety equipment (PPE) to include eye wear, vests, gloves, and helmets. Students will be required to have a pair of proper boots (steel toe preferred) to be able to go on site.
