Organization Description

Shadowbrook Post-Acute is a 50-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Oroville, CA.

Services include rehabilitation, skilled nursing, social services, and activities. 

Program Information

A student intern will have the following learning opportunities:

  • Bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Create care plans that are individualized to resident
  • Monitor psychotropic medications
  • Coordinating care conferences with IDT members and families
  • Discharge planning

The student intern should be:

  • Flexible
  • Willing to ask questions
  • able to work individually and in a team setting
  • able to communicate well
  • able to deal with hard subjects
