Community Engagement Coordinator At — College Track
Interested in working with first generation and low income youth as they meet their goals of earning a bachelor's degree? Passionate about educational equity and the East Palo Alto community? If your answer was "yes" to either of the statements above, then join us at College Track, East Palo Alto!
Students will learn about: issues such as equity in education within the larger East Palo Alto community, how to engage in local recruitment efforts, the various skills associated with developing and facilitating group presentations.
Students will practice skills of public speaking, 1:1 and large group presentations, the creation of targeted marketing materials, professional communication, project management and collaboration.

Student will be provided onboarding period where they will have access to training materials around the organization of College Track, as well as various trainings associated with the field of education (Trauma Informed care, Mandated reporter, etc). In addition, students will have direct supervisor to oversee and support their progress both during onboarding and throughout their time with College Track. Finally, students will have access to other members within the national organization for additional support outside of their site supervisor.
College Track is moving towards a vaccination mandate for all staff (including volunteers, interns, etc) that interact with our students or work on site. Students will need to provide proof (picture) of vaccination prior to being allowed to work on site.
