This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain professional experience in advocacy, grassroots organizing, lobbying, and campaign work. Interns will learn and engage with the fundamentals of ground up political work. Our internship is a rare opportunity to receive direct mentorship in grassroots organizing. Our training philosophy is “learn by doing”, and we are committed to providing our interns with new and wide-ranging opportunities to collaborate with us, learn and grow. By offering comprehensive training and a nurturing environment, our interns are well-positioned to thrive during their time with us.
Interns receive an immersive introduction to grassroots organizing and advocacy. They are trained in areas of civic engagement, volunteer coordination, digital content creation, policy research, and leadership development.
We provide training on campaign tasks like digital organizing, canvassing, and internal office programs. As well as workshops on civic engagement and professional development.
COVID vaccinations are required and staff are asked to wear masks while in our office.
