The Mission of Washington Sports Medicine (Part of the Washington Hospital Healthcare System) is To optimize the health of the sporting population within the District by way of education, injury prevention, recognition and management and to engage in local and state policy-making and advocacy that relates directly to the sporting health of our local populace.
