Opportunity Summary 

Learn hotel operations as it pertains to banquets and restaurant.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

A student will learn many different aspects of the Hospitality Industry. They will have a working knowledge of all the various roles within the restaurant and hotel. How to manage and set up various functions for a variety of clientele. Some basics in how to train staff and delegate responsibilities. Simple problem solving and troubleshooting as every day in a restaurant has new opportunities and challenges. Events being coordinated by different department heads and working with different clients. And a general overview of how the Food and Beverage Department and Hotel work together.

Opportunity Training 

Training is continual and begins the first day. There is a period of one on one training followed by short meetings going over service, safety and food and beverage knowledge. Every month there are additional safety trainings and our company has some online trainings as well that cover safety, service and taking care of the guest.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Non-slip shoes are required, uniforms are provided after 60days of service.
