Are you a quantitative social scientist at heart? This opportunity will enable you to develop your skills, working with internationally-recognized experts in a dynamic non-profit education and research institution. If you are someone with a natural curiosity, comfort and experience with questionnaires and statistical methods, and a desire to understand how and why people act, then you should apply!
This experience will support development of the following learning outcomes:
• Students will gain experience and skills in areas of professional communication, collaboration, project management, critical analysis of research challenges, research design, data collection, data analysis and report writing.
• Students will learn about community issues linked to specific projects such as social aspects of environmental sustainability, science and innovation communication, health communication, and informal education about cyber security.
Training is provided electronically, through written materials and a live walk-through the systems. The initial orientation is about 2 hours. Additional training along the way would be approx. 1 hour per week.
Good safe use fo computer equipment is needed (regular stretching etc.)
This will be handled in collaboration with the academic supervisor. For new applicants, minimum requirement is CV, brief cover letter, writing sample and interview.
